FSN provides training for clients employed in forensic toxicology, drug identification or trace analysis. Training encompasses analytical methods, QA/QC practices, and operation and maintenance of instrumentation. The instrumentation include the gas chromatograph (GC), high performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC), mass spectrometer (MS), LC-MS, and inductively coupled plasma (ICP, ICP-MS).
FSN is developing textbook material and laboratory manuals for high school and college level courses in forensic science. FSN consultants have extensive academic teaching experience and continuously offer continuing education programs for coroners, attorneys, investigators and pathologists.
